FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...

When you go somewhere you haven't been before, there are always lots of things you want to know. Here are some of the more common questions people ask about us:

WHAT WILL I EXPERIENCE WHEN I VISIT THE RIVER? Well, our guests usually comment on a few things. But generally, our friendliness, relevant messages, loving atmosphere, and live worship experiences seem to be at the top of the list.

WILL MY CHILDREN ENJOY COMING? Yes! River Kids, our children's ministry, is for age 3 up to Grade 6, and takes place during both morning services on Sundays, as well as meeting in small groups on Thursday nights. We also have nursery facilities for infants and toddlers. We work hard to ensure a safe, friendly, fun, faith-filled environment for your children, because kids matter.

WHAT DO YOU OFFER FOR TEENS? Liquid Youth Ministry meets every Thursday night at 7:30 and on Sundays during our worship celebrations. We believe that given the right opportunities, our youth can change the world. Praise Factory nights include a student-led live worship band, passionate messages, and small group experiences. Praise Factory meets the first Friday of each month. Additional small groups meet at other times throughout the week.

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED? When new people come to The River, many want to start serving in a ministry area right away. We encourage you to take some time to get to know us first, and there are plenty of opportunities for that. Whether you participate in our Open House Vision Day, one of our small groups, the Helps Ministry, or elsewhere, take time to meet some people, learn what you can about us, and ask lots of questions. Once you've become acquainted with The River of Life's Vision and leadership, we can talk more about serving in one of the many areas that The River has to offer.
